Barber's Egg Nog Coffee [ back to Lattes / Coffees ]

INGREDIENTS
2 tsp brandy (or rum or bourbon) flavoring
2 tbsp brown sugar
2 generous tsps instant coffee
3 cups Barber’s egg nog
1 cup whipped Barber’s whipping cream - whipped with a bit of sugar until soft peaks form
1 tsp instant coffee for Barber’s whipped cream
Ground nutmeg

DIRECTIONS
  1. Mix together the egg nog, brandy flavoring, brown sugar and 2 tsps instant coffee. Mix well until sugar and coffee are well incorporated. Cover and chill until ready to serve.
  2. Sprinkle 1 tsp instant coffee over whipped cream and fold together.
  3. To serve: Pour eggnog-coffee into cups or short glasses. Top with dollop of coffee whipped cream and add a dash of nutmeg.
  4. Pour hot Barber’s milk into mixture and simmer for about 8 minutes to allow flavors to blend well.
  5. Serve immediately in mugs or cups.
