Dill Bread

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups Barberís cottage cheese
  • One 6 oz. Package Cornbread Mix
  • One 6 oz. Package Buttermilk Biscuit Mix
  • 2 lightly beaten eggs
  • 1/2 cup Barberís whole milk
  • 1 generous tbsp dried dill weed (or 2 fresh)

COOKING DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease 1 to 2 bread loaf pans depending on sizes you use.
  2. In large mixing bowl stir together the cornbread and biscuit mixes creating a ďwellĒ in the center.
  3. Add Barberís cottage cheese, eggs and Barberís whole milk and stir until dry ingredients are wet.
  4. Sprinkle dill weed over mixture and stir well.
  5. Fill bread pan(s) about 2/3 full. Place in oven and bake until cooked inside and top is golden brown.

TIP:

  • You can use mini-loaf pans or muffin tins as well.
