Dill Bread [ back to Breads & Pastas ]

INGREDIENTS
2 cups Barber’s cottage cheese
One 6 oz. Package Cornbread Mix
One 6 oz. Package Buttermilk Biscuit Mix
2 lightly beaten eggs
1/2 cup Barber’s whole milk
1 generous tbsp dried dill weed (or 2 fresh)

DIRECTIONS
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease 1 to 2 bread loaf pans depending on sizes you use.
  2. In large mixing bowl stir together the cornbread and biscuit mixes creating a “well” in the center.
  3. Add Barber’s cottage cheese, eggs and Barber’s whole milk and stir until dry ingredients are wet.
  4. Sprinkle dill weed over mixture and stir well.
  5. Fill bread pan(s) about 2/3 full. Place in oven and bake until cooked inside and top is golden brown.

Tip:
You can use mini-loaf pans or muffin tins as well.
