Barber's Party Dip Crostini [ back to Bites ]
(Crostini is Italian for “little crusts” or more everyday name such as “French Onion Toasts”)  

INGREDIENTS
1 loaf of French bread sliced and lightly toasted
Thin slices of your favorite cheeses
Thin slices of tomatoes
Salt and Pepper to taste
1 pint of Barber’s Party Dip
Chopped Fresh Dill (can used dried dill as well)

DIRECTIONS
  1. Lay toasted bread slices on decorative serving platter or plate.
  2. Spread each lightly with Barber’s Party Dip.
  3. Top each with a thin slice of cheese and tomato.
  4. Lightly salt and pepper.
  5. Top each with a small dollop of Barber’s French Onion Dip and a sprinkling of fresh dill. Bon Apetit!

Tips:
Other great ideas for these little toasts: add some smoked salmon to each; top onion dip with some rinsed and well drained capers; mix Barber’s Party Dip with a bit of Roquefort or Feta cheese to make a spread.
